To the best of my knowledge, all archdevils are also baatezu. Is this not the case? It definitely was in 3e. ~ Lhynard (talk) 13:18, March 1, 2018 (UTC)

No, not all of the Archdevils can be called baatezu. For instance, Malkizid is a fallen solar, and Tiamat (she was an archdevil for a time) is definitely not a baatezu, but a dragon. Plus, since there doesn't seem to be an exact definition of what constitutes a baatezu, I can't be sure that the other archdevils are baatezu unless it is explicitly stated.--SilverTiger12 (talk) 13:51, March 1, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for replying.
Actually, I just checked, and Malkizid is explicitly stated to be a baatezu in Champions of Ruin, just like every other archdevil given stats in 3e. I'm not sure about Tiamat, since she has always been stat-ed as a god. One can change from being a baatezu or not. It still seems to me that every archdevil is a baatezu. A fallen solar can become a baatezu, and a baatezu can become a deity, but a solar and a deity are not archdevils either.
