Cathal Sunspear was the counter clerk for the Aurora's Realms Shop, Waterdeep Way Catalogue Counter in the Castle Ward of Waterdeep in the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1][2]

She was the daughter of a wealthy family of Tethyr,[2] the Sunspears who ruled County Bardshyr.[3]
She moved to Waterdeep and was working for Aurora's by the mid-1360s DR.[2]

As well as her work at the shop, Cathal was an investor. She paid close attention to the backroom deals of the city's noble families and guilds.[2]
