Cazador Szarr was a vampire lord who lived in Baldur's Gate.[1]

Description[edit | edit source]

Cazador led a coven of other vampires and was incredibly power-hungry. He was said to have treated his slaves very poorly, and even carved poems into their back.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Approximately 200 years prior to 1492 DR, Cazador rescued a high-elf, Astarion, from a group of Gurs. However, Szarr would later make him a vampire spawn slave and force him to carry out tasks unwillingly. In 1492 DR, the slave would be captured by a nautiloid and be injected with an illthid tadpole. Wanting him back, Cazador sent out a Gur monster hunter called Gandrel to try and capture Astarion.[1]
