Celestia, Brightest Star of Day was a great sun blade bastard sword that emerged in the late 15th century DR.[1][note 1]
Powers[]
Celestia was among the brightest three stars of day, and possessed tremendous power. It was strongly holy and used its good energy to annihilate evil. It exuded a blinding and devastating bright light, as well as a blazing heat that burned away its victims. It could be further improved in combination with a planar focus of erudition, planar focus of prowess, or planar focus of subterfuge recovered from Lolth's realm.[1]
History[]
A number of blessed stars of day were brought to Eveningstar by the Church of Amaunator to help combat the Darkening and the Sschindylryn invasion of Eveningstar, and Celestia was the greatest among them. At the close of the war, Elminster sent heroes from Eberron into Lolth's realm to rescue Ana Brabener and the Weave itself, winning Celestia in the process.[1]
