Description[]
This white-yellow cheese was often formed in the shape of wheels[2] or blocks.[3] It could be heated up, and emitted a potent smell. Cheddar was sometimes paired and cooked with tomatoes.[3]
Reputation[]
The great sage, Elminster, often enjoyed eating cheddar, especially when conversing with reputable mages, such as Mordenkainen.[1][3][4]
Notable Cheddar[]
- Arabellan Cheddar, noted by Volo to be the best cheddar in all Faerûn. It had a sharp taste, and traveled very well.[5] It was served in taverns such as the Hungry Man,[6] and could be brought from Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue.[2]
