Effects[]
When cast, this spell reduced the temperature of a liquid or material. The liquid had to be a non-living substance. The spell reduced the temperature by about 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees Celsius) to a maximum of freezing temperature. The spell expired rapidly, lasting only an instant.[1]
