Chris Parker is one of the founders of Obsidian Entertainment and the Game Director there. Formerly, he worked for Interplay Entertainment as a video game producer. He's famous for his work on video games in Forgotten Realms setting, Star Wars setting, Pillars of Eternity series, Pathfinder setting, and other projects.[1]

Chris Parker received his B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine in June 1995.
Work on the Forgotten Realms setting[]
Parker entered the video game industry in 1995 as a tester, gradually becoming a producer and, eventually overseeing both internal and external development for more than twenty published products.[1]
Black Isle Studios (1995-2003)[]
Chris was part of Interplay Entertainment from January 1995 till May 2003, and among his notable achievements is the management of the highly successful Baldur's Gate, which sold over two million copies.[1]
Obsidian Entertainment (2003-Present)[]
As some of the other Black Isle Studios employees, Chris left and took part in the foundation of a new studio, Obsidian Entartainment, where he's been working since June 2003. [1]
