Chris Pine is an American actor who portrayed Edgin Darvis, a bard and ex-harper turned thief, in the Dungeons and Dragons film Honor Among Thieves.[1][2]
Career[]
Chris Pine found fame playing James Kirk in the 2009 Star Trek movie and its sequels. In other fantasy and science-fiction genre movies, he has appeared in Rise of the Guardians, Into the Woods, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
On December 14, 2020, he was reported to be in negotiations to star in the Dungeons & Dragons movie.[3][4] This confirmed on February 8, 2021 at the same time as Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith.[1][2] It was later reported that Chris Pine was paid almost US$11.5 million for his role in Dungeons & Dragons, making him the 16th highest paid Hollywood actor at the time.[5]
Filming began in May and Pine was seen in costume at Carrickfergus Castle from June 28.[6][7][8][9]
