Clan Tlassian was one of the dragonborn clans of the nation of Tymanther.[1]

History[]
Clan Tlassian was a small clan in 1479 DR. The clan gained status in Thymari society when Tarhun became the Vanquisher, as the Tlassians offered to him their staunch military support. As a reward, Tarhun gave to them the lands to the east of Djerad Thymar,[1] including the Tomb of Ur-Hammabi.[3]
Aside from their role as defenders of the lands located to the east of Djerad Thymar, the Tlassians were known as one of the farming clans of Tymanther. They also specialized in metalwork, and were specially renowned for the quality of their armorcraft.[1]
They were traditional rivals of Clan Vkriss.[3]
During the Second Sundering, most of the Tlassian farms may have been lost when Abeir and Toril exchanged lands.[note 2]

- Tlassian Trank Eldwing, a young smith of the clan in 1479 DR.[4]
- Tearn, a skilled warlock[5] and a former member of the clan in 1479 DR.[3]
