The Cliffwatch was a public walkway[5] in the North Ward of Waterdeep that partially spanned the length of the edge of the steep cliff of the same name.[1][2][3][4][5] The southernmost portion of this road was also referred to as the Watchway.[4][6]
Description[]
There were no rails or walls separating this walkway from the steep 100 feet (30 meters) drop of the Cliffwatch.[7][8]
Location[]
This street stretched from north to south, running parallel to Saerdoun Street and Zendulth Street — as well as meeting the two of them at an intersection — until terminating alongside Malkur's Ride at the Beaconmarch, right before the Watchway Tower.[3][4]
Reputation[]
This walkway provided pedestrians an ample view over the Cliffwatch,[5] looking over the beautiful vista of the countryside east and south of Waterdeep.[7]
