The Company of the Wolf was an adventuring company based out of Nesmé in the Evermoors. They were expert woodsmen, trackers and archers, and often fought orcs and wild beasts of the forests. They also guided and guarded merchant caravans to and from the Sword Coast and points south and the northern cities of Silverymoon and Sundabar. They bore no relation to the mercenary band of the same name.[1]

As of 1357 DR, the company's leader was unknown. Their spokesman was the aged witch Umlatha of Nesmé.[1]
