Corellon, or more fully Corellon Larethian, whose titles include The Creator of the Elves and The Protector, is the patron god of all fey. He is the creator and preserver of the Tel'Quessir, governing those things held in the highest esteem among eladrin and elves, such as magic, music, arts, crafts, poetry, and warfare. Corellon lives in the realm of Arvandor. He favors those who kill orcs and the followers of Lolth, blesses those who aid others and becomes angered at those who defile the dead, or flee from their foes.[2]

Worshipers

Among Corellon's worshipers are elves, half-elves as well as many bards. His clerics wear silver circlets and gossamer robes of the brightest azure. While his holy day is the quarter moon, Corellon is worshiped at natural geological formations with beautiful objects being sacrificed to him monthly.

Orders

  • Fellowship of the Forgotten Flower: The fellowship is a loosely structured organization made of elven knights dedicated to the recovery of lost elven relics from long-abandoned realms. Members must be elven warriors or paladins.[3]

Relationships

Gruumsh One-Eye became Corellon's greatest enemy after Corellon plucked out the orc-god's eye in ancient times. The entire orc pantheon hates Corellon intensely. Corellon opposes the deities of the goblinoids as well, also being at odds with Cyric, Talos, Malar, and Moander. Corellon was also the one to banish Araushnee to the Abyss, resulting into her transformation into Lolth, the spider-bodied demon goddess of the evil drow. Corellon can count all evil drow gods as enemies for this. The only exception is his daughter Eilistraee, whom he cleared of all charges.

Dogma

The elves are sculptors and wardens of magic's endless mysteries. Bring forth the beauty that envelops and let the spirit gambol unfettered. Seek out new experiences and new ways. Ward against those that would destroy what they cannot create. Commune with the natural and mystical world. Be ever vigilant against the return of the banished darkness, and be strong in heart against the corruption of the Spider Queen.

Creative Origins
