Corwyn Jaffe was an ex-pirate who ran the Devil's Fire Tavern in Melvaunt, an establishment he purchased from a merchant in 1372 DR. Corwyn had not completely left his old life behind however, continuing to serve as the first mate on a pirate ship.[2]
