A couter was a common component of plate armor, being the hinged piece that covered a wearer's elbow.[1][2]
Notable Couters[]
- The arm of valor, an enchanted adamantite platemail arm covering, was separated into five pieces that each held their own power. One of these pieces was a couter with a wing-like design.[2][1][2]
- couters of second changes, enchanted couters that could turn a missed strike into a dead-on blow.[3]
