Cragh was a Netherese arcanist of the Golden Age of Netheril who was born deaf and developed the spell deafness.[1]
Description[]
Unable to speak, he communicated entirely via sign language, only saying a few syllables when required for spellcasting.[1]
Abilities[]
The skilled archwizard and mentalist was able to cast the majority of his spells without requiring verbal components, apart from those of very high power.[1]
Relationships[]
As well as being well respected by archwizards of Netheril, Cragh gained the respect of the dwarves that dwelt in Ascore. They named him "dwarf-friend" and he went to visit them in their stronghold quite often.[1]
History[]
Cragh was born in 1759 NY (−2100 DR). Deaf from birth, he dedicated himself to the study of magic and became very skilled within the field, becoming the greatest archwizard of Northreach all through the 1800s.[1]

He passed away in 1865 NY (−1994 DR).[1]
