Crakadan Earthdigger was a dwarven cleric of Tempus, and an adventurer of Ravens Bluff in the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1][2]
Description[]
He had dark brown hair and brown eyes, with ruddy, tanned skin.[1][2]
Personality[]
He was dour, serious, given to drink, and devoid of frivolity.[1][2]
Abilities[]
Though a cleric, he didn't turn undead; he had instead a granted power that allowed him to enter a berserk rage. He had notable wisdom, ideal for a cleric, and equal strength and resilience.[1][2]
Possessions[]
He had a ring of protection and a magical flail, as well as a favourite mug he carried everywhere.[1][2]
Activities[]
By the late 14th century DR, Crakadan Earthdigger had become an adventurer in Ravens Bluff.[1][2]
Relationships[]
Regarding his adventuring companions, he felt a bond of camaraderie with Aliana Meriadeth, and he both admired and condemned (mostly out of envy) the talents of Serena Worthwood. He went to bars together with Taldar Everwind on occassion, though he didn't approve of how dashing Taldar was. He tried not to bring up the contradictions in Tanis Obereck's life up, because he considered the mage pleasant enough. Finally, he found Akira Iko admirable, and didn't regard him fleeing his ancestral lands as a disgrace.[1][2]
History[]
Crakadan Earthdigger left his ancestral clan to join a temple of Tempus, feeling a call to that faith; upon returning, his proselytism was not welcome, so he eventually came to Ravens Bluff, where he joined the civic temple of Tempus, and there met Akira Iko, who introduced him to the rest of his adventuring companions. Crakadan joined their party.[1][2]

Background[]
Crakadan originally appeared in Polyhedron #113, with only one minor difference: a different name for the god he worships, which was from a home setting in use by Robert Wiese rather than the Forgotten Realms. These characters were adapted for the Adventurer's Guild version of the Special Delivery module in 1998, and were reused for at least one more module, Legacy of Venom, in 1999.
