Cymbals were a percussion[1] instrument played in the continent of Zakhara.[2][3] They were also used by rock gnomes[4] and in certain Khazari monasteries.[5][6]
Description[]
Cymbals consisted of two round thin plates made of brass, which were slammed together to produce sound. A pair of cymbals typically had a diameter of 18 inches (0.46 meters), weighed 4 pounds (1.8 kilograms) and costed 20 gold pieces.[1][2] A smaller version called finger cymbals was also used in Zakhara.[7]
