Dacentrurus (pronounced: /dˈsɛntrrʌsday-SEN-troo-rus[3]) was a species of dinosaur.[1]

Description[edit | edit source]

Dacentrurus looked like its cousin stegosaurus. Instead of large bony plates running along its back, dacentrurus had long, sharp spikes. It's tail ended in a cluster of spikes.[1]

Behaviour[edit | edit source]

Dacentrurus were known for being aggressive.[1]

Combat[edit | edit source]

When attacked, dacentrurus always positioned its body so their spikes were facing their opponent. It was capable of delivering significant damage with its spiked tail.[1]

Biology[edit | edit source]

Dacentrurus were herbivores and lived in herds.[1]
