Daily chapbooks, also known as a dailies, were short printed document which usually contained tabloid-style news or political rants. They were common in Amn.[1]
Structure[]
Dailies usually all followed the same structure:[1]
- The headline news, called high clack
- Some opinion columns, called screeds
- The altara, publishing sermons and decrets from local temples
- Some serialized fiction works, usually an epic saga, a farce, and a romantic story featuring feuding families
- A page of word puzzles, called thoughtfuls
- A humorous page of spicy riddles and jests
