Dalat was a language of the Hordelands.[1]
Description[]
Dalat had harsh consonant sounds, especially its Ks, and the sound of L was aspirated. Its grammar had a subject–object–verb order.[2]
Speakers[]
Dalat was spoken primarily by the nomadic Dalat tribe.[1]
Script[]
Dalat did not have a written script.[3]
History[]
Scholars classified Dalat as one of the Southern Imaskari languages.[3] It was strongly influenced by the Muhjuri language.[1]
