Dambrathan was a regional tongue of south Faerûn and the nation of Dambrath.[3]

Dambrathan was spoken primarily by the people of Dambrath,[3][4] including the Arkaiuns.[2] Other places it was frequently spoken included Channath Vale, Halruaa, Luiren, Nimbral, and the Shaar.[6]

The language sometimes employed the Dethek script[2] and at other times the elven alphabet, Espruar.[3][4][5]
