Davaeorn was a mage who worked for the Iron Throne during the mid–14th century DR.[1]
Activities[]
Davaeorn was responsible for controlling the iron production in the Cloak Wood mine. Due to the iron crisis that plagued the Sword Coast, the Cloak Wood mines remained the only source of usable iron for the entire region.[1]
He was believed to have been a follower of Bhaal, the Lord of Murder.[1]
Relationships[]
Davaeorn reported to the leaders of the Baldurian branch of the Iron Throne. He was aided in his efforts by an apprentice mage named Stephan.[1]
He had an estranged brother who was known as the Surgeon.[1]
History[]
At some point in his past, Davaeorn killed his father. His brother followed him to the Sword Coast region to kill him as an act of justice.[1]
In the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR, Davaeorn was killed by Abdel Adrian during a raid on the Cloak Wood mines.[1]
