The Deception mantle was a psionic mantle that granted ardents and divine minds an array of psionics powers and abilities derived from the universal concept or philosophy of deception.[1]

Abilities[]
Those who followed the death mantle gained the unique psionic power to expend a psionic focus to materially displace their bodies, making the manifester much harder to hit.[1]
The psychic aura exuded by divine minds of the deception mantle made the manifester and their nearby allies more skilled at bluffing and deceiving their enemies during a conflict.[2]
Powers[]
Novice manifesters could manipulate the minds of foes in their favor with cloud mind and psionic charm, as well as make themselves more hidden with concealing amorpha. Manifesters of some experience gained the power to escape detection and deceive another creature's senses with false sensory input. As a manifester progressed further they could erase knowledge from large crowds with mass cloud mind. Masters of this mantle obtained power bend reality, allowing them to alter reality with their mind.[3]
