The Deep Elder Doom was the highest-ranking member within the church of Myrkul up until the mid–14th century DR. They served as the head of the Conclave of Doom within the Skullspire in southern Faerûn.[1]

- Haaeluth Muribaert: This quiet but cold-hearted priest held the post beyond the destruction of Myrkul's avatar in 1358 DR. He maintained his status as head of the Skullspire temple as his congregation converted to the worship of Cyric after the Time of Troubles and again to Kelemvor a decade later.[1]
