This article is about the miner from ancient Netheril. For the mines that bore his name, see Dekanter.
Dekanter was a famous explorer[1] miner, whose endeavors commenced off the Silver Age of Netheril.[2]
History[]
In the −2758 DR, Dekanter discovered great wealth of valuable minerals beneath the Greypeak Mountains for the empire of Netheril. Among the riches found beneath the mountains were veins of iron, silver, gold, platinum, and mercury.[2][3] The mines of Dekanter were formed in his name,[1] and dwarves were enlisted to extract the minerals for the empire's use.[4] Thus began the Silver Age of Netheril.[5]
