Dermin Courtierdale was a famous Harper master of the 1360s DR.[1]
Relationship
Dermin tutored many young Harpers, including Jaheira.[1]
History
Some years prior to the Year of the Gauntlet, 1369 DR, Dermin recruited Jaheira into the Harpers.[1]
In 1369 DR, after Jaheira had joined Gorion's Ward's party and that adventuring group killed the Harper master Galvarey, Dermin approached the woman and informed her that he had been sent to apprehend or otherwise kill her in retribution for the death of Galvarey. However, Jaheira came to the conclusion that Galvarey, Berinvar, and their band of Harpers had been acting out of alignment with the greater organization for their own benefit. Later, Dermin revealed himself also to be a member of the rogue group. But in the end, Jaheira and the Gorion's Ward's party managed to kill Dermin and his rogue agents.[1]
