Destruction was a necromancy spell that killed the subject and destroyed the remains.
Effect
This spell instantly slayed the subject and consumed its remains utterly in holy (or unholy) fire. The target had a chance to avoid destruction but would still suffer massive injury. The only way to restore life to a destroyed creature was to use True Resurrection, a carefully worded Wish spell followed by Resurrection, or a Miracle.[1]
Focus
A special holy (or unholy) symbol of silver marked with verses of anathema.[1]
