Dire tigers were a monstrous variety of the mundane species of Feline known as tigers.[1]
Description[]
Dire tigers were giant cats with a pair of huge 6 in (15 cm) fangs jutting from their powerful jaws.[1] They grew to be over 12 ft (3.7 m) long and could weigh up to 6,000 lb (2,700 kg).[2]
Combat[]
Dire tigers preyed on just about anything that moved, patiently stalking a potential meal, and striking whenever the creature let down its guard. A dire tiger attacked by running at prey, leaping, and clawing and biting as it raked with its rear claws.[2]
Ecology[]
Habitat[]
Dire tigers were found in warm forests. They are known to live the Dunwood.[3]. They also lived in the Cat Lord's Prowl.[4]
Relationships[]
The demon lord Baphomet was known to sometimes have awakened dire tigers serving him.[5]
