Dire tiger

Dire tigers were a monstrous variety of the mundane species of Feline known as tigers.^[1]

This immense, monstrous feline is almost as tall at the shoulder as a human. It has a long body with bold stripes and paws the size of bucklers.

Description[]

Dire tigers were giant cats with a pair of huge 6 in (15 cm) fangs jutting from their powerful jaws.^[1] They grew to be over 12 ft (3.7 m) long and could weigh up to 6,000 lb (2,700 kg).^[2]

Combat[]

Dire tigers preyed on just about anything that moved, patiently stalking a potential meal, and striking whenever the creature let down its guard. A dire tiger attacked by running at prey, leaping, and clawing and biting as it raked with its rear claws.^[2]

Ecology[]

Habitat[]

Dire tigers were found in warm forests. They are known to live the Dunwood.^[3]. They also lived in the Cat Lord's Prowl.^[4]

Relationships[]

The demon lord Baphomet was known to sometimes have awakened dire tigers serving him.^[5]
