Donaar Blit'zen was a dragonborn paladin who was a decisionist of Acquisitions Incorporated "C" Team and the proprietor of the Yum-Yum Hut diner in the late 15th century DR.[2]

This copper, draconic gentleman claims to know more than one hundred different dragons. Chromatic, metallic – just tons and tons of dragons. I'm hoping we can leverage some of these connections in our dealings. None of the dragons I've contacted have gotten back to me, but they're probably just very busy right now. This is one of the busiest times for dragons… or so I've been told by my new best friend, Donaar Blit'zen.

Description[]

Donaar Blit'zen was a massive dragonborn of copper dragon ancestry with scales of the same brown-coppery color. He was a confident man with a level-headed attitude who had a habit of bragging and talking big with little to back the attitude. One notable distinction was his tail, a rarity, often considered a deformity by the dragonborn, but members of the Blit'zen clan possessed that feature. By the age of nineteen winters, he was known to wear a paladin's heavy armor and brandished a massive two-handed sword he called Twothbrush. He also wore a cloak that once belonged to his brother Nase Blit'zen. The eccentrically named Twothbrush, sometimes called Toothbrush, and his whip, called Floss, were evidence of Donaar's obsession with oral hygiene.[2][3]

Abilities[]

A good idea is to swim in the wake of an existing business. Somebody else did the market research and decided this was a good location? Awesome! Now use that decision against them. Set up direct competition. Then spread rumors about them until they're forced to leave the area in shame. Now the market is yours. That's how you business.
— Donaar Blit'zen[4]

Like other dragonborn, Blit'zen possessed a breath weapon but, unlike other members of the race, he vomited the acid breath "like a cat hacking up a hairball."[2]

Posessions[]

Donaar's lodgings in Dran & Courtier had a potent odor. The room was filled with workout equipment and boxes of smallbites intended for the Yum-Yum Hut. He owned a calendar with every page of it adorned with Donaar's images as well as an autographed poster of Sixty Wrong Sausages, a minstrel band he favored.[5]

Relationships[]

Donaar claimed to have known more than a hundred dragons. The Acquisitions Incorporated hoped that the dragonborn's connections would end up being a boon to the organization. He had an adopted "daughter" or "goddaughter," a dragonborn toddler girl called Chronaar.[2][3]

History[]

Donaar left his family and clan at a young age, traveling to the faraway lands in Faerûn to engage in the adventurer's life. Being away from home, the dragonborn took the opportunity to reinvent himself, adopting significant bravado as his main personality trait.[3]

Sometime before the Year of the Duplicitous Courtier, 1496 DR, Donaar Blit'zen temporarily took over the operations of Dran & Courtier in Red Larch, and attempted to rebrand the organization. This resulted in the creation of Big Daddy Donaar's Yum Yum Hut. Despite the attempt ending up to be an initial disaster, the eatery became famous enough to attract folk from across the region to partake in its delicacies and purchase merchandise.[1]
