A door of beasts was a dweomered door that, when disturbed, would burst open and spew forth monsters and beasts per the spell summon monster IV.[1]
These doors were always made with elaborate knobs and knockers in the shape of the head of a beast with gems for eyes. Before they were activated they were found shut and locked until someone tampered with them.[1]
