Doreta was a young woman from Ravens Bluff in the mid-to-late 14th century DR, who was taken by the vampire Romanisk Vlaensk for companionship.[1]
Description[]
When adventurers chanced upon her, she was pale, very pale, after having been underground for weeks.[1]
Personality[]
She was not accustomed to fanciful living, but had taken to it easily, trying to convince herself she did not miss her past life.[1]
Relationships[]
The vampire Romanisk Vlaensk used her for companionship when it pleased him; he had refrained so far from draining her life energy for that reason. If his charm over her was broken, she wanted to return to her mother.[1]
History[]
After Romanisk was freed from under Stag Falls castle by digging done at the behest of Baron Vilhelm von Stag Falls, he quickly turned the noble into an undead under his control, and had many people from the village taken to the castle. Doreta in particular was taken for companionship, and her family did not object, as they could tell she'd be taken whether they objected or not.[1]
She remained with the vampire underground afterwards, being charmed to ensure her compliance, though kept in the lap of luxury.[1]
