Dove's harps were enchanted musical instruments of elven creation, named after the similar item owned by Dove Falconhand, with the true name lost to the ages.[5]

Description[]

Dove's harp was a rectangular masterwork harp with a number of strings between twenty and thirty six.[5]

Powers[]

When Dove's harp was played, all creatures within 20 feet (6.1 meters) were temporarily cured of any effects or spells that caused insanity (similarly to the greater restoration spell) as well as received effects of the calm emotions spell. Creatures that listened to the harp's music for at least 12 seconds also received the effects of the cure light wounds (this power can only affect a creature once per tenday). As the harp was played, the harpist radiated magical light.[5]

Creation[]

Dove's harps could be created by an individual proficient in crafting wondrous items, and had access to calm emotions, greater restoration, healing circle, and light spells.[5]
