Eagleshield (pronounced: /ˈigʊlʃildEE-gul-sheeld[1]) was a noble family of Waterdeep.[3]

Their symbol was a spread-winged eagle. They owned a tack shop and farm for treating ill animals in Amphail, and they produced harnesses of black leather, which featured their family crest.[3][4]

The family owned a villa in the Sea Ward, on the northeast corner of Cooper Street and Feather Street.[5]

  • Nuthos Eagleshield: Patriarch in 1357 DR,[6] through at least 1372 DR.[2]
  • Glenn Eagleshield: Consort of Nuthos.[2]
  • Arundel Eagleshield: Eldest daughter and heir of Nuthos and Glenn.[2]
  • Narrovan Eagleshield: Patriarch circa 1479 DR.[7]
  • Embrelle Eagleshield: Consort of Narrovan. Died of unintentional food poisoning.[8]
