Eight diagram coins were actually copper discs engraved with symbols.[1][2]

Description[]

These coins always came in sets of eight, each copper disc engraved with its own symbol.[1][2]

Powers[]

Once a coin was tossed into the air and the command word spoken, the caster would then intuitively learn of the fate of someone as per the fate spell.[1][2]

History[]

At least one set of these coins were located in the Horseshoe Temple Oasis, both before and after its occupation by oni in Year of Shadows, 1358 DR.[3] Around the same time another set was scattered around the mountain temple near Jalan, somewhere in Kara-Tur.[4]
