Elemental weevils were extremely rare tiny elemental insects native to the plane of Elemental Chaos.[1]
Description[]
Relatively harmless, elemental weevils were hot to the touch and appeared as tiny smoldering creatures that left charred tracks in their wake. They could be easily contained within a glass bottle.[1]
History[]
During the years of Spellplague, elemental weevils could be found on the slopes of Mount Hotenow. Following the mount's volcanic explosion, in the Year of the Ageless One, 1479 DR, the tiny ember creatures could be found within Neverwinter's River District. During that time, Riftel Farsight was researching the creatures, sending her apprentice Gerad Kinesward into the orc-ravaged district to collect the insects for her.[1]
