The Emperor of the Lotus Throne, also called the Lotus Emperor, was the traditional head of the Lotus Court and ruler of the Yikarian Empire.[1]
Activities[]
The Emperor not only ruled the vast Empire, but also served as the High Priest of the Faceless God—the only deity worshiped by the yak-folk. The Emperor himself was even sacrificed to his god after 20 years of serving as the Emperor. Traditionally, a younger yak-man was chosen by the Faceless God for this position.[1]
