Epidote was a plentiful ornamental stone within the Realms.[4][5][6]
Description[]
This stone's color ranged from clear (in the smallest crystals) to dark red (in larger crystal deposits). One variety could be cut into large cabochons of a deep rose color.[4][5][6] A typical stone had a base value of 10 gp.[1][2][3]
Powers[]
Crushed epidote was used in the formula for potions of undead control and in making the ink for inscribing scrolls with protection from undead.
