Fahren was a Netherese arcanist who developed spells that affected the sight of others.[1]

The inventor was highly-respected and was said to be a true "master of magic". He educated both mages and rogues in the Art.[1]
Relationships[]
Fahren had a good relationship with both types of his students. However, the thieves he taught used his spells to rob others.[1]
History[]
Fahren was born in 2357 NY (−1502 DR).[1] He was credited with the invention of two spells: darkness, 15' radius and glitterdust.[2] Fahren died very young at the age of 40 in 2397 NY (−1462 DR), making him one of the shortest-lived arcanists of the era, along with Efteran.[1]
Rumors & Legends[]
It was rumored that one of his rogue students used glitterdust to rob a rival arcanist. This in turn led to Fahren's death when the rival took it out on him by destroying Fahren with a sphere of annihilation.[1]
