Faldis was an accomplished and venerated elven warrior and member of Akh'Velahr who died before the advent of the Weeping War and was buried with honors in the depths of the Dwarven Dungeons of Myth Drannor.[1]

History[]
In life, Faldis was considered to be heroic and courageous. In reality he was neither. He commissioned a platinum shield to be enchanted to compensate for his flaws. The shield came to be known as Faldis's Defender and brought him the acclaim and status. At the end of his life, the warrior hidden his shield, the most precious and the most shameful possession in the secret room inside what later to become his tomb.[1]
In 1369 DR, a group of adventurers from Phlan discovered the fallen warrior's diary and his deathbed confession about the nature of his achievements and acclaims asking however finds his shield to use if for truly heroic and courageous deeds.[1]
