The Fang Rocks,[1][3] also rendered as Fangrocks,[2][4] were a dangerous reef formation found in the Pirate Isles on the Sea of Fallen Stars.[1][3][2]
Geography[]
The Fang Rocks were situated near the halfway point in the waters between Kelthann and Dragonisle,[1] over the northeastern section of the Hmur Plateau.[4]
Description[]
Most of the reef was only visible at low tide, making it particularly dangerous to incoming vessels unaware of the region's geography.[1][2] They covered an area of sea roughly 10 miles (16,000 meters) in radius.[1]
History[]
A fleet of twenty warships from Sembia was sent to destroy Immurk and his band of followers in the Pirate Isles in 1180 DR. Unaware of the hidden Fang Rocks, all but three of the warships were destroyed by the reef.[1]
