Fire titans were a more powerful form of fire giant[1] whose feet and hair were completely made of flames.[citation needed] They stood a little taller than a cloud giant.[citation needed]

Combat

Fire titans typically preferred to get up close to their opponents and attack with flaming greatswords. When the opportunity to attack from a distance presented itself, they would often hurl lava at their opponent.[1]

Society

Relations

They were often known to enslave Azers.[2] and employ fire archons as bodyguards.[3]

They were occasionally known to fight alongside phoenixes.[1]

Homelands

Some fire titans were known to live in the City of Brass.[4]

Religion

Some fire titans were known to serve the evil archomental Imix.[5][6]

Notable Fire Titans

The queen of Maerimydra after the Spellplague was a fire titan named Hledh,[7] although later scholars described her instead as a fiendish fire giant.[8]

Rumors also spoke of felljaws, dragonspawn presumed to have descended from a mixing of black dragons and fire titans. Felljaws inhabited the Underdark of Returned Abeir.[9]
