Firebead Elvenhair was a mage who traveled the Sword Coast in search of books for the sages at Candlekeep, such as Gorion. That he made purchases for the monastery was a badly kept secret among the book dealers of Baldur's Gate and Beregost.[1]

Firebead Elvenhair appeared twice in the Baldur's Gate computer game. First was in the Candlekeep Inn where he tasked the player with retrieving a scroll from Tethtoril. He later appeared in Beregost, searching for The History of the Fateful Coin.[2]
