Despite the name commonly used to refer to them, they could be found in the form of almost any armament such as axes, maces, self-loading crossbows,[1] or even gauntlets of armor.[2]

- The Sword of Savras
- This peculiar flying sword roamed Faerûn and attacked spellcasters seemingly at random. Those who survived their wounds were bestowed with rare and unfamiliar spells.[3]
