Foresight was a divination spell that granted the caster powerful warnings about the future.[11][2]

ComponentsEdit

The spell required verbal, somatic, and material components. The material component was a hummingbird's feather.[2]

HistoryEdit

The Netherese arcanist Smolyn was credited with the creation of this spell in −1964 DR. It was originally called Smolyn's foreseer.[1]

Foresight was an uncommon but somewhat widely accessible spell in the Realms circa 1358 DR.[12] Only the most powerful spellcasters could use this spell.[11]
