Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerûn is a campaign sourcebook for the Forgotten Realms using the 5th-edition (revised) Dungeons & Dragons® ruleset published by Wizards of the Coast on November 11, 2025, alongside Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn. Oriented toward dungeon masters, it presents adventure ideas, monsters, and magic items, and an introductory adventure, "The Lost Library of Lethchauntos".
Lands Untold. Secrets Unearthed.
Create endless adventures across the Forgotten Realms—where Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and other storied lands await. Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerûn gives Dungeon Masters the tools to craft unforgettable tales in this legendary world.
Included inside:
- Level 1–3 intro adventure
- 5 campaign backdrops
- 51 short adventures
- 39 monsters and villains
- 51 illustrated maps
- Advice for running the Realms
Description[]
It includes five detailed gazetteers on Baldur's Gate (described as dark urban fantasy), Calimshan, Dalelands, Moonshae Isles, and Icewind Dale (described as survival horror), with over fifty mini-adventure ideas, in addition to "The Lost Library of Lethchauntos". It also includes fifty-two maps, forty stat-blocks for monsters and villains, and seven magic items. It also includes rules for Bastions, allowing player-built strongholds.
Notably, it is the first official D&D sourcebook to name the Forgotten Realms Wiki, with the first chapter mentioning it as a useful resource for the Forgotten Realms. Moreover, it was written with the aid of the Forgotten Realms Wiki, as evidenced by the appearance of obscure lore only documented here and the canonization of wiki footnotes. This continues a practice since at least Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. (The wiki cannot take responsibility for it, however.)
