In the vein of {{AQ-time}}, I wish to propose we treat undated 4th edition Realms sources as occurring in 1479 DR, and that we create a date note template explaining this assumption. This would only apply to undated sources—works like Menzoberranzan: City of Intrigue are explicitly dated, so no assumption is required there. There is a slew of undated 4e content, ranging from official sourcebooks (Halls of Undermountain), to organized play modules (Lair Assault), to magazine articles (Dungeon and Dragon). Attaching a date to these would be mildly beneficial.

Based on the information I possess, I believe 1479 DR to be a fair assumption. At the same time, I am curious to hear if there are any problems with that assumption or any conflicting information.

The vast majority of the 4e product line seems to be set in 1479 DR, though a few sources reference 1480 DR, and a couple others are set slightly before then. Storm over Neverwinter is particularly problematic, as it references the eruption of Mount Hotenow as being 20 years ago, but also references the Darkening (1484 DR), and features Myrin Darkdance and Kalen Dren on their way from Luskan to Westgate, which happened in 1480. In all though, I agree with the idea.
