Hello. I am relatively new to wikia and belong to a very small wiki full of inexperienced people, myself included. We greatly admire the Forgotten Realms wiki and often reference it for how we should approach making our wiki informative and attractive. We recently got into templates and infoboxes and really like the Person template. None of us know much about coding, but I think it is CSS? I'm not familiar enough with the language to code in it, though I have been trying to learn. Anyway, if it is okay to share with an outsider, I was wondering how to add a field to an infobox. We are all gamers keeping up with our characters, you see, and it would be beneficial to add such fields as "Player" and "Status". If you guys would prefer we did not touch your templates, I'll let my fellows know. If there is a simple explanation somewhere on wikia or the Internet as a whole that I have missed, I apologize for bothering you and ask for a link. Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day!

Thanks for your interest. There are some resources available on the new infobox style at the Portability Hub. Go to their Main Page and look at the Quick Links on the right panel. There you will find pointers on creating and styling your infoboxes. You are welcome to copy our templates over to your wiki and modify them as you like. That's how most of us learned in the first place. Adding a field to the new Portable Infoboxes is a breeze compared to the old style. If you give me a link to your wiki, I can drop by and help out or answer questions over there. Good luck!

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! I shared your advice with the head admin. You can find us at WzrdMrg4n is the head and the best person to talk to regarding anything on the wiki. I hope you don't find us too silly and incompetent. Thank you again!
