Forums: Helping Hand > Any way to get credit for an addition made when I wasn't logged in?

Use the following template for a nicely presented post:

{{Forum post|Write your message here!|~~~~}}

I know it's a long shot, but I wrote a rather lengthy update to an existing article, but I was not yet registered. Is there any way to retroactively get credit for it?

Hello Chrisbequick, welcome to the wiki!

There's no way to change the edit history (save of deleting the revision entirely and having you add it anew, logged in). But you could just add a note on your talk page, or the articles talk page, that you use the IP address in question. Hope that helps
