Books where Centaurs feature in the storyline? Edit

I've recently been interested in Centaurs. I've read a lot of Forgotten Realms and don't remember coming across them. Has anyone read a book that deals with Centaurs as the main race / main character ?

Thanks for any help here,

Craig (

P.S. I didn't want to create a whole new category for this, that's why my question is nested here.

Hi, I moved your post to its forum page, here.
Centaurs in the Realms are detailed in Races of Faerûn. In fiction, I know centaurs appear in Crusade (though only a chapter or two). Timoth Eyesbright is a centaur and a main character of the DC "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" comics series. — BadCatMan (talk) 06:05, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

I've read a considerable amount of FR literature and I'm sad to say I only recall one book where a centaur played more than a minor role. The book is Red Magic by Jean Rabe.

In one of the first post-spellplague books (sorry I can't remember the name) a centaur like fey from Abeir appeared in one chapter.
