The link doesn't seem to work.

Indeed, it seems as if you have to subscribe to D&D Insider, which was discontinued last year. You can use something like D&D Beyond, however, I don't find it quite complete: https://www.dndbeyond.com

The link works fine for me, and I'm not a subscriber. Choose something from the drop-down menu and click Search. You get a paginated list of results with a source for information about each one. Some selections will have a "Campaign" column that tells you if it is Forgotten Realms or some other setting. Very nice.

Clicking an actual selection brings up a page which doesn't show any information, though. It just brings up a window telling me to subscribe.

Well, that's not quite as useful :b Maybe wizards will release all that old info if we ask nicely.

I found the link to the compendium (I'm also not a subscriber but I get to search for things) here If you search for something most of the source links it will give you are to DDI. Maybe the site not allowing it is a web browser issue? *Addendum*: I did find this a while back, maybe one could just make one of these older accounts?
